CONFESSIO

After being found in her home covered in her husband’s blood, an experienced ICU nurse is taken into police custody as the only apparent witness to his brutal death. Exhausted, traumatised and struggling to piece together the final hours of the night, she insists she cannot remember what happened. What begins as a routine interview quickly becomes a relentless interrogation. Detectives dismantle her story piece by piece, confronting her with inconsistencies, fragments of evidence and uncomfortable truths about her marriage.

Every answer creates another question, and every memory seems to contradict the one before it. Trapped beneath the unforgiving lights of the interrogation room, her professional composure begins to fracture. Memories surface in flashes: an argument, a scream, blood on her hands, but she can no longer distinguish what she remembers from what the detectives have convinced her to believe.

As suspicion closes in, the interrogation becomes a psychological battle for control. The detectives want a confession. She wants the truth. But the deeper they push into the events of that night, the more uncertain that truth becomes. By morning, the question is no longer simply whether she killed her husband, but whether she can trust her own mind long enough to survive the interrogation and whether the truth waiting beneath her fractured memories is more terrifying than the crime itself.
